Studio 6 Limon, CO – I-70

I was on a motorcycle trip and stopped for a night. The staff were really warm and friendly, and one of them helped move me to a different room when the air conditioner was acting up. The remodeled room was a pleasant surprise, especially at a budget-friendly Motel 6. I really enjoyed my stay.

After a long day driving, I arrived around 11pm to check in. I'd booked online and had already been charged, but nobody was at the front desk. Calling the hotel only got me an out-of-service message, and the assistance bell either didn't work or no one was there to answer it. Corporate couldn't reach anyone either. I waited about an hour, but no one ever showed up, so I got a room across the street.

The room itself was clean and nice, but the service was poor. Water had flooded the bathroom when I arrived, and I reported it right away. The clerk twice said she'd come look, but never came. I spent the night with wet towels and standing water, and my jeans and shoes got soaked whenever I used the bathroom. At checkout, all I got was a casual "sorry," and she didn't seem to care.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Ms. Deborah at the front desk was helpful, friendly, cordial, and had a good sense of humor. The room was clean, the AC worked great, and both the bed and the fridge and microwave were in great condition. We checked in on the evening of 9/27, and we'd stay again if our travels bring us back to the area.
