Meredith Lodging was extremely responsive to our questions and concerns, and two service calls each took about 30 minutes from the call to the fix. The location is great for walking to the beach or driving onto it, which helped since some elderly people in our group couldn’t manage the hill. The house has lovely decor and everyone had personal space. The kitchen is fabulous, with lots of counter space and natural light, though the living room is small. The kitchen and dining area are really the only gathering spot large enough for everyone. The third-floor suites have the only partial ocean view, and they’re posh and relaxing, especially with those giant tubs. A couple of things were annoying: the fireplaces run on 30-minute timers, so you have to keep getting up to restart them, and the first-floor wall heaters do the same. We stayed in January 2022, and the first floor was much colder than the rest of the house. I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could.

The Blue Crab already feels like home after several stays. It’s a gem in Lincoln City, a huge property with every amenity a guest could need, within walking distance of the beach and plenty of restaurants and shops.

We love this house! The living space is awesome, clean, tidy, and well organized, with a great layout for working out. It’s close to the beach, and the exterior has fresh paint.

I’m writing this from the second-floor room, and I already feel right at home. There are two more rooms above me and one below. Walking into the house makes me feel like Bruce Lee in The Game of Death.
