I paid about $61 with tax for a one-night stay, but the toilet tank kept running and making noise while I was trying to sleep. I don't know if it was the fill valve or something else, but it was really annoying. The man at the counter, maybe in his 50s or 60s, was rude when I asked for a one-third price reduction. He said he could only give me $5. Five dollars for a noisy room with a broken toilet tank? The way he acted was worse than the room itself. I booked the day before and may have been lucky to get a room, but I refused the $5 and left the review the motel deserved. He even said he'd dispute my review. We'll see what he says.

I'm giving this a 5-star rating because I assume you were having a bad day and don't usually treat people like that. Still, you didn't let me make a counteroffer to the rate you'd already offered the third party. That doesn't mean I'm trying to scam you. You made a deal and put it online, then didn't honor the price. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who likes being lied to. I should've walked out when you raised your voice after I pointed out that the third party was advertising the room for $8 less, presumably on your behalf. Maybe that's why you're upset all the time, because you're not making money. That's not how you do business if you want to stay open.

The bathtub was rusty and nasty, and the owner's extremely rude. Customer service was horrible. If you're looking for somewhere comfortable, take your money elsewhere. I'd give zero stars if that were an option.

After paying over $300 a night during a Nebraska football game, we walked into a room with a disgusting smell. We thought we could put up with it for a few nights. The next day, the ceiling was pouring water. At the office, they first said it hadn't leaked that morning, then said no one was above us and the water was shut off so it couldn't be leaking. They acted like we were making it up. When they finally looked, they said it shouldn't be doing that. After repeated back and forth and several “No Refunds” comments, they moved us to another room. That room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. There were dozens of dead moths in the AC unit, and exposed wiring beside the toilet. We chose to drive over an hour to another town rather than stay another minute. When we told the office, they said the previous owner hadn't maintained the place, though they'd owned it for three years. This motel is a dump, and the owners don't care about the property or guests. Stay far away. I'll be contacting the city, county, and state to get an inspector out there so nobody else has to go through this. Absolutely disgusting. The motel fakes its own reviews too, in my opinion. Anyone rating it above one star, since zero isn't available, is probably a fake review from the owners.
