Hampton Inn by Hilton Lincoln

The rooms were clean, the bathroom was good, and I had a good stay. The hotel is being updated, though there's still more to do. Our room was nice, but the carpet and furniture felt a little dated. The key card took four scans to let me in, and the mechanical parts are worn, so you have to push the handle in gently. The back door that's meant to stay locked doesn't lock. We got four inches of snow, and nothing was shoveled all day.

I was especially impressed by how clean the place and facilities were, and the front desk team was professional and welcoming. The location is handy for major attractions but quiet enough to rest. It was a genuinely relaxing stay, and I'd definitely come back on my next trip.

The breakfast was disappointing, the TV was tiny, and the bed was really uncomfortable. The rooms are dated too. We paid $166, which wasn't worth it. We usually choose a Holiday Inn Express, and now we've learned our lesson.

We stopped for one night, and I booked two adjoining rooms for my sons and me. They were thrilled that the pool stayed open until 11 pm. I always choose Hampton Inn, and I love the free breakfast and the other amenities.
