A nice spot to stay. There are picnic tables and vending machines, plus laundry on site. It’s pleasant to take a walk around, too.

Evan hung up when I called to see if anything could be done about the problems, and then slammed the phone down. I was told there were no refunds, so I’ll be disputing the charge. After 52 years and plenty of hotel stays, this was one of the worst places I’ve been. I couldn’t get comfortable in the bed, and it felt like there might be bedbugs. There was constant noise from the room above and around me, well past normal sleeping hours. Doors kept slamming, like someone upstairs was training for a marathon, and a buzzer went off randomly from somewhere I couldn’t identify.

Parking, internet, and cable TV were all good. The rooms are very bare bones, though: a stovetop, microwave, full-sized fridge, five plastic hangers, a double bed that’s basically a glorified cot, two towels and washcloths, two chairs, a table, two dressers, and a decent TV. That’s about all you get if you’re not expecting much. They supposedly offer room service twice a week. We stayed for a week, and the cleaning person only came just before we left on the last day. You can swap towels and sheets at the front desk, when someone is there.

There’s laundry on site, pets are allowed, and the staff are always friendly and polite. The room was clean and well maintained when I first moved in, and the price fit my budget very comfortably. Added later: What I wrote above was about when I first arrived. I’ve since had a different experience, and I’ll be writing another review about it.
