Staybridge Suites Lincoln I 80

It felt homey in this apartment suite, and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. I liked that on the 3rd floor you could open a screened window a little to get fresh air. I know motels have safety reasons for keeping windows closed, but this one felt secure. The place was clean, with sanitation measures in place, and breakfast was very good. The social hour was busy, with people chatting and enjoying spirits. I also enjoyed the outdoor pool, though the bottom needed a proper cleaning rather than just a sweep. Some furniture needs replacing, especially the broken down couch, and the ice maker didn’t work. The bed was okay. It was a good stay overall, and I’d come again in warm weather if the pool were cleaner and the whirlpool working.

We had a great stay. Our room faced inward over the pool and was set up like a small apartment. Check-in was quick and easy, and using Expedia caused no problems. The pool area was spacious and had a grill, though I don't know the rules for using it. There was also a little store open all the time with the small things you might forget at home. It came in handy when I woke up with heartburn. The blackout curtains were great, and breakfast was more generous than I expected, with a waffle maker, eggs, and sausage.

We come back every time we drive across the country, and the check-in and checkout times work really well for us since we often head out at 2 am. The room is cozy, with a little kitchenette I use to refreeze drinks for the next day's drive. The dinners are one of my favorite things here. Many nights a week they have a complimentary dinner and drink hour where you can chat with other guests and have light food, sometimes catered from a local restaurant. I used the gym and found it clean and quiet. I haven't tried the pool since it's outdoors.

We've done business with them several times and have been very pleased. Their meeting rooms work well for the classes we hold there from time to time. They’re flexible about how we set up the room and responsive to what we need. The staff are professional, prompt, and a sharp group. I’ve also heard very good things about the lodging rooms. And when we call, they actually answer the phone, no “leave a message” runaround.
