Low rates and a solid old-school motor lodge, with thick walls that kept things quiet and private. Many rooms have a patio or private deck. I had a great view, plus a screened sliding door so I could get plenty of fresh air or watch the sun come up with my coffee. There was a coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge with a freezer compartment. The bathtub was big, the AC worked well, and the shower always had plenty of high-pressure hot water. There aren’t many extras, but it’s excellent value for what I paid. It’s a quick drive to the PA Turnpike, and an honest, kind couple owns and runs the place.

I travel for work and want to be able to see my truck from my room. Here, the room has a private patio looking out to the parking lot. The owner is respectful and keeps my room clean. I’d drive up to an hour out of my way to stay here. If you want somewhere quiet and clean, this is the place.

I really needed a computer for work, so not having a business center was the biggest letdown. There’s no continental breakfast either. Pets are allowed, but it costs $20 per pet extra. The room was mostly clean, and the low price was the only thing that made the stay worthwhile.

I was bitten five times during my stay of a few days. Bed bugs!!! The shower was decent and the water was hot, and it’s easy to get to the turnpike with places to eat nearby. The price is relatively good. Not much else to say. You get what you pay for.
