The Lodge At Lincoln Station

The location is great and the building looks nice, which made the stay more disappointing. We were in unit 115B, owned by Susan, and noticed what looked like mold on the bathroom ceiling. We reported it with photos. Maintenance problems can happen anywhere, but the response became repeated back and forth instead of a focus on fixing it. The concern was minimized and reframed, and the co-host Rebecca came across as dismissive and defensive rather than trying to find a solution.

We rented an apartment through AirBNB for two nights. The location is excellent, near the Flume Gorge and on the Kanmangus highway, though traffic on that road was heavy over the Columbus day holiday weekend, with accidents and long waits. The apartment was terrific: kitchenette, tub, balcony, and cable TV set up to watch with Roku. The bed was comfortable, though a little close to the wall on one side. There weren't many charging sockets, but what we had was adequate and well provided. It was easy to find and use. We enjoyed the stay, but didn't get a chance to swim or use the hot tub.

Just keep in mind this works more like an Airbnb condominium complex than a traditional hotel. There's no front desk for towels or check-in, and no room service or wake-up calls. The unit owner we dealt with checked in regularly and gave us all the hospitality we needed. The lodge has two pools, an arcade, a rushing river out back, and beautiful views. My wife and I stayed in one of the hotel-room style units. It was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and cost effective for the area, with easy check-in and checkout. For couples planning a stay, I'd consider spending extra on one of the larger apartment or loft units. We'll definitely stay again.

The hotel itself is beautiful, but management seemed nonexistent and it was a joke trying to reach someone. There were no sheets or pillowcases on the bed, and no towels or washcloths in the bathroom. It seemed like housekeeper “Kim” was in a rush and hadn't done the job.
