Cullars Inn

The rooms were just okay, and the TV quit working even though there were two mounted in the room. When we were woken at 4 AM, we couldn’t even put something on to watch. We’d stayed last year and had a pleasant, quiet visit, so we gave it another try. This time the walls were so thin we heard the neighbors’ whole conversation and cigarette cough. The people upstairs were stomping around at 4 AM too. It was almost comical, but still horrible. You get what you pay for here. If you stay, I’d try for an upstairs room with no neighbors.

For the price, it was fine and I don’t have any real complaints. There was a little noise from the nearby community gathering spot, the laundry mat, but the privacy fences were nice and there was some police presence that felt reassuring.

The sheets were stained, and the linens, including the towels, looked like they could be at least 30 years old. There was permanent grime in the bathroom too. I can’t believe they’re operating with rooms in this condition. Stay somewhere else unless you’re out of options.

The room smelled awful. The covers and sheets seemed really old, dirty, and stinky, like they’d been there for over 10 years.
