The rooms didn’t feel worth 142.52 (150). I’ve paid 150 for luxury, but of course it’s dirty jersey. Tourists, don’t do it. New York has better service, and I’m from mass and live in Rhode Island now, so that says a lot. I’m going to yelp next... At night the service was horrible. Staff complained about people and wouldn’t hear them out, but were quick to call the cops and threaten people. It seemed like everyone hated their job. The customer service was awful.

The one thing this place had going for it was parking. The rest of the stay was extremely disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it. I didn’t feel safe. People smoked outside, groups gathered in the lot late at night, and there was constant noise beneath the windows, with banging and loud activity through the night that made it hard to rest. The building felt run down and poorly maintained. Furniture was old, rust was visible, and the hallways were dirty. Staff weren’t welcoming or professional. There was no greeting or acknowledgment when I returned the keys.
The bed sheets were dirty, and they didn’t have enough towels. The only people who made the stay worthwhile were the cleaning staff, though not all of them. Some laughed and stayed on the phone while an older woman did the work. The manager was the worst I’ve seen. I watched her berate one of her employees because she couldn’t understand her. The disrespect was unbelievable, and I’m going to call Corporate and file a report. An employee was recently beaten up, and the hotel didn’t tell us guests. I bet the manager didn’t tell the other employees either. I’ll never stay at this location again. The service was garbage.
The lobby smelled moldy and the customer service was awful. The receptionist refused to check me in because I had my cat. Apparently dogs are allowed but cats aren’t, and that restriction wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the website. The area felt very sketchy too. I got stuck in New Jersey during a layover after bad weather cancelled my flight, and, as expected, all the hotels were booked. This was the only place with a room, so I had no choice but to book with my next flight two days away. With a huge storm and freezing weather, the manager could have made an exception. Instead, two guests in the lobby helped me find another dingy motel nearby at 3 AM. Don’t waste your money.
There was construction outside day and night, and the neighbors seemed suspicious. They’d come back to the apartment after midnight and make noise. The washer cost $2.50 and the dryer $2.75, plus they charged another $1 for my first wash attempt even though it didn’t work. I stayed four days, and there was never hot water, only warm water in the bathroom. Breakfast wasn’t included in the price, though there was a kitchen and refrigerator.
