The owner was really friendly and helpful, and the place worked perfectly for our Maine vacation in August 2025. My husband and I stayed several nights. It was a bit small, but clean, with daily service that kept everything fresh. Though it's right off a busy road, the noise wasn't too bad.

We'd happily stay here again. It's a cozy little find near Bar Harbor, with a comfortable room, a big bathroom, and a rocking chair. The room was clean and had a kitchenette, and we could open the windows for fresh air. The road noise was noticeable at first, then died down overnight.

The room and bathroom were clean, and the AC worked well. The shower was on the small side, though the water pressure was great. The owner was very friendly and offered directions and restaurant suggestions. With Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park so close, the price felt like a great deal. The sign out front says it all, 'Stay for night not a fortune'. We'd definitely stay again.

There are tables and chairs outside if you want to spend more time outdoors, and coffee in the office at 7 am was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with windows you could open or AC to use. The motel is close to the highway, but set back enough that it was quiet at night. A great base for exploring the Acadia area.

This is a dependable way to save money if you're okay with a basic, dated cabin style room. The fresh sheets and blankets felt clean, but the old, worn top quilt gave me a real “yuck” feeling, so we left it alone. The shower pressure was very low, and the water took a while to heat up. If comfort is a big priority, you may want to look elsewhere.
