We had a quiet, restful night, and the beds were comfortable. The room had plenty of supplies, too. Breakfast was simple, with cereal, waffles, instant oatmeal, coffee, juice, and a big bowl of fresh apples, oranges, and bananas. I stayed here 10/25/23, and the price felt fair. The hard floors seemed much cleaner than carpet, and the rooms were clean, which matters most to me in a hotel. Staff were nice and helpful. I'll definitely stay again.

The room's air conditioner worked well, and the bed was good enough for an okay night's sleep. But the place is poorly kept. The common areas look aged and worn, and the laminated floors in the rooms were dirty and sticky. The toilet didn't flush all the way, and the tiny vanity had only a basin sink, leaving almost no room for toiletries. If you just need a cheap spot to sleep for a few hours, it is the least expensive option in the area.

Our room looked fairly clean, but it was ice cold, and the bathroom floor was sticky enough that our shoes left prints throughout the room. The hall was very dirty and clearly hadn't been swept in a while. The lobby smelled like pot. We arrived late and had to call a number because the desk clerk was on break. Breakfast was just a few oatmeal packets, cereal, or a waffle. At 7 a.m. the batter looked separated, like it might have been sitting around, so I didn't eat it because it seemed unsafe. There were only two tiny, thin towels, and we're going to keep driving home instead of showering. It felt overpriced for such poor quality and dirt, though it's okay if you only need a place to sleep.

The bathroom was dirty, and the sheets felt like sandpaper. The place is outdated, dirty, and the service was poor. There isn't an elevator, so you'll carry your bags up the stairs. The carpet was sticky and dirty, and there was no central air, just a window unit. It was 90 degrees in the room when we arrived because it hadn't been switched on. I'd booked ahead, so I expected it to be ready. Security seemed nonexistent: the neighboring room had a broken door handle, like someone had forced it. It felt safer to sleep in the car. We only got one key card, and the fridge and clock were unplugged, maybe to save energy. The person at the desk was flat and unwelcoming. You're basically paying for running water by the night.

We found a lot to eat nearby, and the rate was much lower than at other motels during the solar eclipse event. We booked two rooms for what other places charged for one, and they hadn't jacked up their prices. The rooms didn't smell of cigarettes, and the beds were comfortable. The motel is old, as you'd expect since a new Super 8 hasn't been built for many years, and the rooms show their age, but they had the basics plus a fridge and microwave. The bathrooms could have been cleaner, and the hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. Still, we were pleasantly surprised. The girl at the desk was very nice and did her job well. The air conditioner cooled the rooms quickly and kept them cool all night. I thought the fridge wasn't working at first, but flipping the switch fixed it. We had seen the reviews and expected the worst, so we were thankful to find vacancies.
