Garden Inn and Suites Little Rock

The room was meant to be non-smoking, but it had clearly been smoked in. Every sheet had cigarette burns and stains, and there were cigarettes and ash behind the beds. The room was so stuffy it wasn't breathable. We asked to switch because it was that bad, but were told it was too late and they'd lose money if they moved us. I don't see how, if another room was open. For the price, this was the worst motel I've stayed at. We left early and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Those 5/5 reviews must be bots. It needs to close and be renovated.

The front desk guy was really nice, and the beds were comfortable enough. The AC was nice and cold too. But the price was way too high for the room's condition, and the cleanliness was abhorrent. I cleaned the questionable tub before using it. Water pressure was nonexistent, and there was blood, food, and what looked like snot stuck all over the walls. The seal at the bottom of the door was broken. It wasn't the room I expected for what I paid.

We're here right now because I have surgery in the morning. We'd never stayed at this hotel before, but it's so close to the hospital that we gave it a try. The place is clean, the bed is comfy, and it's nicely lit outside, so I feel safe walking around. The only issue was figuring out the TV, but the guy came down and helped me. We love it here and will stay every time we need to come to town.

The bed was at least comfortable, and the room had a microwave, fridge, shampoo, and body wash. Everything else was a struggle. The supposed electric car charger was broken, and it wouldn't have been free to use anyway. The room smelled like years of smoke, and even with the AC blasting it never got below maybe 70. The door wouldn't shut unless you pushed hard, and tape was holding the lock on. The filthy hair dryer didn't work, and the room hadn't been cleaned very thoroughly. We ran out of toilet paper and there were no extra rolls, but the front desk wouldn't bring any. The guy behind the counter had such bad BO the smell stayed in my nose for hours. Cable TV reception was awful, Wi-Fi sucked, and there weren't enough parking spaces. Not a good place.
