HI Little Rock Firehouse Hostel & Museum

Birthdays here are fantastic. My son and his friends loved every minute of it. This place is amazing!

The building's history is palpable, and the accommodations were comfortable. They even have bikes you can borrow to check out the parks and downtown, which are right nearby. I didn't know what to expect from a hostel, but the other guests and staff were so friendly that I had a total blast. The staff kept checking if I needed anything and were always ready to go above and beyond. The location is amazing. I'm really glad I chose this over a traditional hotel, and I'll be back!

I booked this about ten minutes before arriving, and I'm glad I did. The place has a warm feel, lots to look at, and cozy seats. The male dorm guests were all running the Little Rock Marathon the next morning, and the staff were cool about giving everyone running a relaxed checkout schedule. It's right by the Fine Art Museum and a grassy park with a pond. Midtown is close, with plenty of bars and restaurants, and likely regular live entertainment. I stopped at several spots and found good food. Really glad this place is here and so affordable.

The Firehouse Hostel & Museum is just a short walk from downtown, with pubs and restaurants a few blocks away through a quiet neighborhood. Guests can borrow one of the bikes, and the newly opened Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts is literally next door, along with the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History. I've already been recommending it to friends. For my first hostel stay, I booked two nights in the Captain's room rather than the men's dorm. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The shared spaces are full of firehouse memorabilia, equipment, and information, which was really cool.
