I don’t see how this can be a 3 star hotel with a guest rating over 8. The cabinet doors are coming off their hinges, the toilet seat slides all over, and sitting down means scraping yourself on the paper holder. Paint is peeling from the walls, and the bathroom floor is sticky. So gross, Marriott Bonvoy. I expected better.

The room layout worked well and there was a big table inside. The sheets were clean, there were no bugs around the bed, and the shower was hot. Breakfast was okay: eggs were decent, sausage was good, but there was just one waffle maker and the line was long. Still, it was a rough stay. It was hot and the AC wouldn’t stay on, and there was a cockroach in the kitchen. We paid $136 for one night, but I think this hotel should be around $80, and no more than $94. You get what you pay for. Overall it was good but not great, and if you’re fancy, this isn’t the place for you.

Roaches were walking down the hall with me. I was going to write a long review, but honestly this place isn’t worth it. They know about the roaches and the bad staff and still refuse to improve. You can find a cleaner motel for less, with the same service and probably fewer roaches. If you want to spend hundreds to sleep with roaches, deal with unprofessional desk staff, and sleep under dirty, ripped comforters, this place is perfect. I’m warning future guests so their time, money, and vacation don’t get ruined like mine. When I politely raised the issue with the desk lady, she seemed completely unfazed, like she hears it every day. She didn’t apologize or show sympathy or surprise, just said it had nothing to do with her. I asked several times to speak with the manager, but they refused to tell me when the manager would be in. Please don’t reply with a fake apology or ask me to reach out. The staff already know; this isn’t new. These things happened in real time, and I can provide pictures. Don’t say “sorry you feel that way,” it’s condescending, sarcastic, and rude. You can apologize on your own behalf, but not mine.

We booked and paid ahead, but when we arrived they had no room for us. Thanksgiving ended up being spent in a bug-infested room, and we caught bugs in bottles. The bathroom was filthy, and the tub had been painted with house paint. The coffee pot had clearly never been cleaned, and there were no paper towels. Complimentary water was kept locked up at the front desk, where the clerk seemed tired of the job and wasn't friendly. The elevator was out during our stay, and construction around the stairwells wasn't finished. Outside, one end of the parking lot looked like a junkyard, with old conex containers topped with unused materials and furniture left beside them. Weeds had been left to grow all summer around the side entrance. Friday's continental breakfast was okay, but Saturday there were only eggs and some kind of patties, and they weren't very tasty. I took pictures of the awful stay. There were so many problems I could go on and on.

The room had only two pillows, one for each of us, which wasn't comfortable, though that was a minor issue next to the roaches. When we left the next morning, baby roaches were crawling along the hallway doors too, so this seemed like an infestation beyond our room. We were in town for one night before an early appointment at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, since home is a few hours away. The front desk staff were kind at check-in and checkout, and at first the hotel looked clean and comfortable. Then we walked in and saw a large roach on the nightstand by the bed. We checked the beds and found baby roaches on the sheets. We contacted Marriott through the app, but the only alternate room was a king suite that wouldn't work for our family. We stayed because it was just one night. I'm sharing this so others, especially families or people here for medical reasons, know what they might run into.
