Holiday Inn Express Little Rock Airport by IHG

Travelers, beware. This is a scam of a star hotel, and even the one star on this review feels generous. The rooms are like motels, the appliances and toilettes are mostly broken, and hygiene is awful. The alleged scam is that if you ask to cancel because the room is unsatisfactory, they promptly promise the booking will be canceled and you won’t be charged. But after you leave, they keep the room booked under your name and charge you anyway. IHG group was no help.

Breakfast that morning was excellent, especially thanks to the kind, wonderful server who prepared it. I don’t remember her name. She was an elderly African-American lady, exceptionally kind, and kept the food looking good and tasting delicious.

The room we were given, 210, was covered in white powder. I’d booked a king weeks earlier, but when we arrived around 12:30 at night, I was told none were left. As an IGH Diamond Elite member, that was frustrating. We accepted a full-size double for one night since my partner and I could make it work. We cancelled our stay here for the return trip. Don’t stay here.

The breakfast lady was amazing, but I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. I’d already paid for my second night and asked for a late checkout because of the storm coming. I checked out at 12:38 Central Time, which didn’t seem especially late, but manager Mit Patel refused to refund any of the money. He hung up on me, then said we’d been disconnected when I called back.
