We stayed five days because my wife and I were visiting from out of town. The room was clean, but the older woman who owns the place did an inspection every day, and housekeeping also kept knocking. On my first night, I saw her wake a guest next door for an inspection. She even lined us all up in the hallway to inspect our rooms. I felt like I was in jail, and when you speak up, she wants to put you out. I felt harassed and couldn’t get any sleep. The way she treated my family and the other guests was disgraceful. I’d spent a lot of money there, but there are much better hotels where your hard-earned money is worth more. I’d never stay here again.

I was visiting family for Thanksgiving and had booked a room, but was told I had one person too many and needed to buy another room. I refused and asked for a refund. They said my card was declining it, so I contacted my bank, which opened a dispute. Someone at the location then said I had stayed there, even though I hadn’t. When I called to ask them to refund me, she told me to stop calling because I was harassing them, and said to contact my bank since they wouldn’t return my money. Earlier she’d told me to come in, even though I’d explained I was visiting. When I asked for the corporate number, she told me to look it up; when I asked her name, she refused and hung up. They don’t seem to know how to process a refund. Don’t book here. I wish I could give zero stars.

We’d paid the full price through a booking app, but they still refused to let us stay. They asked for my passport, and I showed valid ID, which they wouldn’t accept. Then they called the POLICE. There were four of us, all white women, just trying to sleep during a road trip. I’ve traveled all over the world and have never been treated this way. They took my money. This was the worst accommodation I’ve ever found. Skip this HORROR of a place. The only reason I gave it a star is that the form required one.

I was moved by my company from TX to North Carolina and had to book here last minute. They took a $25 deposit from my credit card. I slept six hours and left, barely using the bed or shower, but the deposit never came back. When I called after seven days, they said it was unpaid with a debit card, though mine was a credit card. They also claimed they’d called to get my full card number. It took 13 minutes on the phone just to get a Gmail address for following up. Gina was rude and slow, then hung up when I raised these valid points. Do they often keep people’s $25 deposits?
