Hampton Inn & Suites Denver Littleton

The beds were decent and breakfast was okay. The hot tub felt amazing at first, but the jets made white foam fill the water, which was gross. Kids were allowed in too, so it wasn't very peaceful when I was trying to relax. And whoever was upstairs sounded like baby elephants stomping around at 4 a.m.

I've had good stays at this Hampton Inn before, so last night was a real disappointment. I showed up around 9:30 p.m. on a Sunday looking for a room. The parking lot was empty, and the hotel seemed quiet. After a few minutes, a guy asked whether I had a reservation. When I said no, he claimed they were full and told me to try the other hotels nearby. I pointed out that rooms were showing as available online at discounted rates, but he still said they weren't taking reservations. I live and own a business in the Ken Caryl area, and it was frustrating to feel like the hotel didn't want to help when I needed a room. I went across the street to the Holiday Inn, where they were happy to give me one.

We've stayed here a number of times when visiting family. It's quiet and really clean, and I can work from my room without noise or technology problems. The staff have always been friendly, and the Continental breakfast is pretty good.

The breakfast setup was great, with several waffle choices, good fruit, and coffee that was above average. The person handling breakfast was really on top of things. Sausage and eggs were cooked fine and fairly good quality, though that's the one area I'd improve. The room was clean, the staff were great, and I was extremely happy with the stay.
