The staff made a real effort to keep my stay easy. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional, and requests were taken care of quickly and with a good attitude. The whole place also felt exceptionally clean, from the spotless room and crisp linens to the common areas. It smelled fresh in a natural way, not like strong cleaning chemicals. I’d come back.

The breakfast was pretty good, but right around 9am on 5/8/26, the woman handling cleanup made a rude announcement to the six people in the dining and lobby area. I don’t want to misquote her, but her delivery was curt and condescending. The same message could’ve been given much more politely. I don’t get offended easily, and still thought the way she spoke to paying customers was unprofessional. Maybe she was having an off day; I don’t know if that’s typical for her. It stood in sharp contrast to the young woman at the desk, who helped us find a room after a bad experience at the hotel next door, which I believe had the same management company. She was extremely helpful and deserves credit. I’d return, but I’d try to get breakfast much earlier.

The exterior stairwell door was still broken when I returned three weeks after my first stay. It had no strike plate and wouldn’t lock, leaving the hotel accessible from outside. At check-in, staff referred to my earlier review and said the problems had been handled, but they hadn’t. Instead of fixing that security issue, management put me at the other end of the building, where the doorknob was failing too. It came away from the frame and only worked if pulled upward. Being told the hazard was resolved while the hardware remained broken showed disregard for safety and honesty. The property is dated, with corroded fixtures, though housekeeping did a good job. On my first visit, my room had a strong musty, likely mildew smell that got into my belongings.

LEE WAS AMAZING, and Mgr Andrew was great too. They kept service prompt and kind even while an unruly man yelled at them over a third party error. They handled a lot of check-ins efficiently and went out of their way to help us. Breakfast was great, and there are so many stores and restaurants close by. We’ll definitely be back.
