Courtyard Livermore

Clean, nice place in a good location. Check out the gym, I wish more of the smaller Marriott brands had one like it.

It was easy to get to the hotel, and there was plenty of parking. My overnight stay was great: the room was clean, roomy, and very comfortable. I'd definitely return.

Great location and very nice staff. They don't have a digital way to reach the maids.

The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and my kids covered their noses as soon as we walked in. It clearly seemed to be left by a chain smoker, and I don't think a room like that should be assigned to families. Getting in was a frustrating start too. My mobile key never showed in the app, and when I went to the front desk nobody was there, so I waited. The employee eventually found my reservation and said I could go up because the key was already in the app. I told him it wasn't, but he was dismissive and rude instead of helping. He eventually gave me a physical key. I've stayed at many Marriott properties and have checked in hours early without trouble. I wouldn't recommend Courtyard by Marriott Livermore. The service was poor, the staff unhelpful, and the room shouldn't have been given to guests.
