Breakfast was excellent, with lots of fresh, tasty choices, and the on-site EV charging station was handy for anyone traveling with an electric car. The staff were professional, friendly, and ready to help. My room was extremely clean and well kept, and the large pool area was relaxing and spotless. There was a good range of equipment in the exercise room, so fitting in a workout was easy. A really nice hotel with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I'd come back.

We had a great stay apart from the pool area being freezing. There’s no shallow end, which made it hard for my little kid to enjoy swimming. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

After checkout, I spoke with the General Manager, Quinton. He was very apologetic and went above and beyond to resolve the issue. I feel fairly confident it was an isolated incident, and with proper training from Quinton and his team, it won't happen again. I'm leaving my original review because the door problem was so unusual. At the time, I was locked out of my room because the door's locking mechanism had a dead battery. The front desk clerk didn't have a key, and nobody was available to open the door.

It took only about 10 minutes for us to decide to leave. Our plumbing problem at home was going to be fixed that night, and the room felt yucky and was a little dirty, so I told the front desk we no longer needed to stay. She seemed to understand, said they'd check us out, and asked us to call the next day about our money. We were in the room maybe 10 minutes, and it wasn't worth the $331 anyway. There were handprints and grease marks on the headboards and fridge, food on the floor, and an odd smell. The carpet clearly hadn't been vacuumed. We spent the entire next day trying to speak with the manager about getting our $331 back, but he was always too busy. When he finally answered that evening, he said he'd process the return in 3-5 business days. By day 7 there was no refund. We called again and learned they hadn't checked us out, and apparently no refund was issued. We were told we'd have to wait for management again. I also called corporate. They confirmed the booking hadn't been canceled and that it was as if we'd stayed and been charged. The person there tried calling the hotel, but nobody answered, and she said she'd find another way to reach management. Times are tough, and I just want the $331 back.
