Lockport Inn & Suites

Mark's Pizza across the street has great pizza and wings, and the inn is handy to so many places around Western NY. The price is good, too. We first stayed at Lockport Inn & Suites in 2023 when we needed a nearby place for a funeral, and we’ve returned many times since. The rooms are clean, and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Every time, I’m glad we found it, and I’m looking forward to another visit.

After six weeks on a cross-country bicycle trip, this was probably the nicest place I stayed. I spent one night here, and it was outstanding in every way. The room was spacious, tastefully furnished, and beautifully decorated, with its own Jacuzzi and gas fireplace. It was spotless and quiet, and the grounds outside were lovely. A very nice couple own the family-run motel and clearly take great care of it. Five stars don’t feel like enough.

The bed was so comfortable I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. The TV was great, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the shower pressure was so good I didn’t want to get out. The older woman who checked me in looked beautiful, with cute red lipstick and a snazzy outfit and matching shoes. I was in town for my niece’s wedding and booked at the last minute. She suggested this place because it was near the venue and not too expensive, even though rates were high that weekend because of a Bills game. The front of the building doesn’t show how lovely it is around back. When I visit again, this will be my first choice :)

Our suite had an old-school feel, like a simpler time. It was spacious, with an open layout and a Jacuzzi just past the bathroom. There was a fireplace in the corner for cold nights, plus a window AC unit and ceiling fan for hot days. The king bed and TV with apps made for comfortable viewing. Outside, there’s an open courtyard with seating and a pool for summer. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available, and we saw a few pets in some rooms. The owner checked us in and was a very nice lady. We chatted a bit. There are eateries within walking distance and more a short drive away. It’s about 30 minutes from the New York side of Niagara Falls. The place could use a little updating, but it’s still nice, and the workers were very polite. Check them out.
