There were bugs and animal fur all over the unit, even though pets supposedly weren’t allowed. It also hadn’t been cleaned before we moved in, and we were told another unit wasn’t available for us to move to. The manager said we’d get a gift card because housekeeping had fallen short, but weeks have passed and we’ve heard nothing. In my opinion, I’d look elsewhere. This was through Gulf Coast Rentals, FYI. Avoid them at all costs.

The water has a smell, though the place itself feels safe. The groundskeeper, who also seems to be the property manager, is nosy and likes to gossip about guests and homeowners. He’s also told us several times that he doesn’t like renters, whether they’re staying short term or long term, and he has a bit of a habit of fibbing. The view is outstanding, but this feels very much like a retirement community, with quiet hours after 9 and similar rules. If you’re hoping to enjoy time here with friends and family, I don’t think it’s the right fit.

There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and the beach views from this small condo complex are great. A soft breeze off the Gulf seems to be blowing nearly all the time.

The views were amazing, and getting to the beach was easy. It was a clean, beautiful place, and the weekend felt like being at home. A very pleasant stay.

We rented a flat here through Airbnb and had a great time. The neighborhood was friendly, and the beach is just across the street.
