Kearney Motel

The manager was as kind and helpful as the reviews say, and he goes out of his way to make sure guests are doing okay. The rooms are clean, smell disinfected, and have nice decor, big mirrors, and marble counters. He showed me the black light that made the ceiling and stars glow. I'd never seen that before, and it was fun. I also loved the roses, a peaceful spot to pray early in the morning. It's a beautiful little motel tucked into a quiet neighborhood, but still convenient to McDonald's, Taco Bell, Winchell's Donuts, and other little restaurants. There may not be as many amenities as at bigger motels, but if you just want to sleep, watch TV, or relax, it's perfect. The price is reasonable, and my stay was very comfortable. I'd come back in a heartbeat. If you just need the basics, you won't regret staying here. Thank you Kearney Motel.

The room was spacious and looked very clean, and we loved the unusual, dreamy hand painted mural on the ceiling. We felt safe during our stay, though the location wasn't especially welcoming. After a lot of trouble finding clean, safe places that accept cats, we were relieved to find Kearney Motel. You can't reserve online, but the front desk staff were friendly and informative, and we booked quickly when we showed up spontaneously. My boyfriend and I both had unidentified bug bites on our legs the next day, so I can't give it five stars. For just an evening in town, though, it's not a terrible choice compared with some other Long Beach motels.

The manager showed me to my first room, and when the black light didn't work, he insisted on moving me so I could try it. I didn't mind, but I appreciated that he cared. My boyfriend loved it too. The room had beautiful clouds painted on the ceiling, modern wood floors, and nice granite, and the place was clean and nicely decorated. This was a very nice stay, and it'll be my first choice next time I need a motel.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The place was clean, with crisp white sheets, wood floors instead of carpet, and a pleasant surprise mural on the ceiling. Very nice place to stay. A landscaper from Colorado gives it a big thumbs up!
