I stayed one night in the cabana unit. I was quoted 130, but my bill came today and they charged me over 214.00 after cleaning fees and taxes. When I called to ask for the owner's number, the woman said she was the owner, which isn't what I'd been told. I asked for my money back and she refused. I intend to contact the BBB in Washington about this. Don't stay there, they aren't upfront about their charges!
Great comfortable Cottages, and only a 10 minute walk to the Beach. If you're ever in Long Beach, you have to stay here. It's the only place I'll stay.
The view outside was amazing, and I really liked the trail at the back that leads to the beach. It was rainy, though, so the way there was very muddy. On a sunny day, it would've been perfect. We stayed overnight because we had a horseback riding reservation for the next day, but the sudden morning rain canceled it and left us disappointed. We went with my family in August 2019 and stayed in the cozy, stunning #7 'Captain's Choice' cottage. There were eight of us, including two kids, and it didn't feel crowded. I enjoyed the cottage and would come back.
The location is great, but the place feels a bit dated for the price. I enjoyed staying here before, though the prices are now exorbitant.
We called at the last minute and were surprised they had a cabin available for our dates and group size, since the place is usually fully booked. Our stay at #2 Cabin was lovely. The cozy cabin was clean and had everything we needed, including a bedroom and a comfortable queen sofa bed. We made breakfast there, and the kids loved the five minute walk past the sand dunes to the beach. There's also a shared outdoor kitchen, grill, and gathering area, plus a private deck with seating that faces the dunes.
