Inn at 50 at Long Beach Convention Center

The staff were really nice and accommodating, and the cleaners were great too. I spent five nights here for Anime Los Angeles after Hilton had sold out, and given recent events with that company, I’m especially glad I booked here. The beds were excellent. The walk to the convention was about 10 minutes if you cut through the theater bridge, rather than 16 minutes along the street. The one drawback was the small, oddly laid-out walkways to the rooms, which meant going between parked cars. I was concerned for wheelchair users, then realized there are designated accessible rooms, which was a plus.

The staff were great to deal with, and the location was really good. Our room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a short visit or even a longer one. We’d come back.

The bed was comfortable, the room was tidy, and the little fridge was handy for keeping food. I didn’t need air conditioning or a fan because the temperature was fine. The staff kindly accommodated my Shabbat observance by opening the door for me with an electronic key. My only minor complaint was hearing a couple in the next room arguing at midnight, since the rooms aren’t soundproof. Otherwise, it was a great stay. I was at Inn at 50 Long Beach, California from 13-16 November 2025 for an immigration lawyers conference at the Westin, and chose it as a cheaper place to stay.

The main drawback for my partner and me was the large deposit. Parking also isn’t guaranteed, and reserving a spot costs extra. Other than that, the service was good, the rooms were clean and good quality, and the prices were good. The area in Long Beach is great for getting around on foot. I’d recommend it and would stay again.
