What stood out most was the value. The comfort and care felt far above what the price would suggest, and I’d gladly recommend the hotel and return. The reception team was warm, efficient, and attentive, so check-in felt easy. My room was spotless and very quiet, breakfast was simple but thoughtfully prepared, and the peaceful surroundings made it easy to sleep well.

I was here on January 1 with my niece and nephew for a medical appointment. I’ve rarely had a bad stay at a Hilton and, in my opinion, they’re better than other hotel chains. This one lived up to that. It’s near restaurants, stores, and gas stations. The lobby was clean, quiet, nicely decorated, elegant, and had plenty of seating and a fireplace. There’s a bar I didn’t try and a small shop for essentials. The pool was clean and warm, and the areas felt secure. The friendly front desk staff were helpful and accommodating. We could choose a floor, and since my niece wanted the top one, we got a room on the sixth. The halls and room smelled nice, and the views were fabulous. The updated room was very clean and had plenty of storage, a desk and chair, an extra lounge chair, an iron and board, a safe, hangers, and a very clean, fully stocked bathroom. Waters and coffee were provided, though the water cost $3 unless you were a higher-level Hilton member. The beds and pillows were comfortable. There was good lighting, a mini coffee bar, a mini-fridge that you have to switch on, and a microwave. I added breakfast for about $11 and was glad I did. There was lots to choose from: fruit, cereal, waffles, eggs, bacon, biscuits, turkey and regular sausage, yogurt, fried potatoes, and more. A self-service coffee maker was also in the lobby by the bar. Michelle, the kitchen and dining room attendant, was lovely. I made a point of learning her name because she deserves a raise. After chatting with another guest, she came over and talked with my niece and nephew, which they clearly enjoyed. I learned a lot about her, and she takes customer service to another level. The downsides were thin walls, so I heard banging from the next room, a bathroom fan that didn’t work, and the nearby train tracks. I could hear the train each time it passed. Still, I have no major complaints and would stay again without hesitation. I recommend it.

The television in my room wouldn’t connect to the internet. I asked staff for help three different times during my stay, but nothing got fixed. At checkout I asked if the hotel would honor its “Make It Right” promise. The front desk associate said she’d pass the request to the manager, but I heard nothing for over a month. I followed up and spoke with Gladys, who said she’d also relay my concerns to the manager, David, I believe. I never got a response after that either. I expected the service associated with the Hilton name, and the lack of follow-through was more frustrating than the technical problem. Issues happen, but ignoring repeated requests during and after a stay reflects poorly on the hotel’s customer care and management. I hope they take this feedback seriously, since better communication and follow-through would improve the guest experience.

We stayed overnight on October 17, 2025. At 8:51 p.m., we found a broken meth pipe under the mattress. I reported it to the front desk agent, who seemed unconcerned and reluctantly offered to move us. I had two children with me and couldn’t explain to them why we had to change rooms. Finding that under the bed made me question whether rooms are properly cleaned at all. We’ve generally found this hotel chain trustworthy and clean while traveling, which made it especially upsetting. This was a health and safety hazard for guests and staff, and it shouldn’t happen if rooms are inspected and cleaned to Hilton standards. The overnight agent said the manager wouldn’t be in until morning. Morning staff told us the manager would actually be in the following Monday and would contact us. We’ve heard nothing from manager David about our stay.
