Arya Inn & Extended Stay

The room itself was unsanitary, and the way the booking was handled made the whole stay worse. We found out the toilet leaked from underneath every time it was flushed, and the bathroom water felt slimy. The main-room carpet was damp, the walls had stains and holes, and the outlets only worked behind the dresser. Priceline's listing had promised a kitchenette with a microwave, but there wasn't one. The pool hours were 9 am to 1 pm, which was awkward since check-in wasn't until 3 pm. I hadn't expected much for what I paid, but a working toilet and the advertised microwave would've been fair. I was also traveling with my two children, and a flooding toilet is a health concern. When we asked to change rooms, we were told to contact Priceline for a refund. They cancelled our second night without telling us and blocked our key, so I had to book a different room at Motel 6. It was only $10 more per night and much nicer, so I'll go back there. My husband was called 'entitled white people' for asking for a more suitable room, and the motel is now refusing the refund they told us to request. I've spent four days going back and forth with Priceline. They say their process is to email the hotel for approval, and the hotel has to respond. I won't use this motel chain again, and Priceline's customer service over this has been atrocious, so I won't book through them again either.

The room smelled like a sewer, and the blankets had burn holes. The carpet was covered in burn marks. There were dead roaches and other bugs all over, with dead insects smeared on the wall. Trash bags had been left in the fridge, and there was residue and roaches on the nightstand from someone smoking weed in the room.

The roach problem here is really bad. The health department needs to come shut this place down.

I checked in and then turned right around and checked out. The smell was awful, like an ashtray mixed with dirty socks. There was dried blood on the wall and door frame, along with scribbles and dirt, and maybe yellowing from cigarette tar. The beds looked dirty and had hair on them. I tried to convince myself to stay, but after three minutes in the room I felt like I needed two showers.
