Ramada Inn Longview

Thanksgiving plans to reach the beach got derailed when our car broke down, and we ended up at the Quality Inn. The staff welcomed us and were very helpful, and both the room and included breakfast were good. It wasn't the beach trip we'd planned, but everyone helped us make the best of a bad situation!

After a 20-hour drive, with sick kids in the car, we were just packing up and waiting for their motion sickness medicine to kick in. The housekeeper had told us we were okay to take 10 minutes to get our things out, but only minutes after talking to her, front desk worker Liz threatened to charge us by the hour. She needs to communicate with the other workers before making threats, and speak to travelers with respect. When confronted, she also shouldn't lie.

The accessible room was genuinely designed for accessibility. I could reach everything easily, and the shower was a proper walk-in or roll-in shower, not a tub with one handle. The food area was spotless and had plenty to eat. This was the cleanest and nicest hotel we've stayed in for a long time. A great place to stay!

For what we paid for two nights, we expected at least warm breakfast and blankets without rips. The shower water would suddenly get hot enough to scald, and water kept running every three minutes all night, leaving us irritated and sleepless. We won't return to this location.
