Jucys Hamburgers (That's how it's spelled.) is just across the road, and their burgers are addictive. I highly recommend going there. I've stayed at this hotel twice this year, in April and September, for 10 to 12 days each time after deaths in my family. The second visit was after my mother died. Having a quiet, comfortable room at a place I trust helped during such a hard time, and the rates are very fair. The staff are so nice. On that last visit I was on the second floor, and since there's no elevator, the man who checked me in carried my heavy bags upstairs. When small things in my room needed attention, they were fixed right away. The ice machine works great, which matters to me because I use at least a bucket of ice each day. One small downside in September was the TV service seemed different from April's, and there weren't any local news channels. It wasn't a big deal while I was with family and grieving, but it would be nice to catch up on what's happening nearby. I hope my next stays are for happier reasons.
