We booked non-smoking rooms but were given smoking rooms. In the hour I've been here, I found no hot water, a broken sink faucet, WiFi that doesn't work, not enough towels even in storage, a fridge that doesn't work, and mold on the ceiling that's making me cough badly. There was no mandatory emergency evacuation plan either.

The room was clean and cheap, and the internet and TV worked. The fellow who checked us in was nice but untrained, so the process took a long time and was confusing. There's a lot that needs work: unconnected wires in the hall, missing screws on the door latch, no fire evacuation plan on the door, no landscaping outside, and a rusty shower rod.

I remember Motel 6 fondly from when it was operating in 2009. The rooms were clean, and the front desk was helpful. It's closed now, and I don't know whether they're renovating or tearing it down.

It's pretty cheap and very bare bones. Fine for one night if all you need is a bed and a toilet.
