Getting an Uber to and from the hotel was easy, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. One of our two rooms wasn’t ready, but they made adjustments for us. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the team knew about the BTS concert. I even ran into other BTS fans in the lobby and elevator, which added to the fun. Great spot for a concert at Stanford Stadium.

The Wi-Fi was the one annoyance: it kept dropping every 30-60 minutes, then reconnected on its own. Otherwise, I had a very pleasant stay. I especially liked the breakfast and dinner, including the salmon and chicken tikka, good choices for Indian guests. There’s a restaurant and bar downstairs, plus free evening snacks for guests. The staff were friendly and quick to check whether anyone needed help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well kept. It costs a bit more, but the quality makes up for that. There’s a gym too, though I didn’t use it.

The room had a tired, poorly maintained feel, and I found a dead bug on the floor. One of the bottled waters had already been opened, with its cap loose. For almost $400 a night, I expected much better. I’ve been a Marriott Bonvoy member for years and trusted the brand, so this was especially frustrating. At check-in, nobody even gave a simple thank-you for my membership. The stay didn’t feel like the Marriott standard I remember. I’ve noticed the quality slipping across Marriott properties over the past few years, and this experience has me wondering whether the brand is still worth choosing over other hotels.

The weight room had what I needed for a good workout, and the room was very clean. Check-in was quick and smooth. My wife especially loved the shower.
