Bronco Motel South Central

For a work trip where you just need to do your business and go home, it’s okay. The rooms aren’t that bad, and it’s one of the only halfway decent motels around Vernon. I haven’t stayed overnight, though, just gone in and out. There are families living there, which puts a damper on things, and there are bugs like roaches at night.

There are shady people hanging around outside their doors at midnight, and the bed was stiff as a board. I paid $65 for one night, there are no hourly rates, and the TV remote didn’t work. The person checking you in is hard to hear and understand. Asking him to repeat himself doesn’t help, even if you’re polite, and he wants all your information written down.

You get what you pay for, and for this area the price is fair. I’ve been here three days and it’s been a good experience. The staff are nice, the mini fridge is a plus, and the WiFi and TV work well. I haven’t seen or felt any bed bugs or roaches, and the kids love it 👌
