Conrad Los Angeles

We keep returning to Conrad Los Angeles, and this was stay number 12. The service, atmosphere, and rooms are why we come back. We’ve tried most of the rooms by now, and the Conrad Penthouse is our favorite, followed by the Corner Suite with its Disney Concert Hall and City Halp views. We even got engaged here, we love it that much. For a regular room, I’d pick the Disney Concert Hall view every time. The rooms all have Byredo soap, which I love. At San Laurel, my dinner picks are the bone-in rib eye and fennel soup, then the burnt cheesecake for dessert. Sebastian is the best waiter in all Los Angeles, so professional, knowledgeable, classy, and nice. The housekeeping team is thoughtful too. When I was on my monthly cycle, they brought supplies without me asking. Every person on the front desk team has been excellent, and the bell boys are all very kind.

I’ve had meals here with my wife, team, and friends, stayed for events, and recommended it to friends visiting town. Every time, the people have been warm and accommodating. Yina, Rebecca, and the rest of the staff have been consistently helpful. The bar and restaurant are excellent, and the food was outstanding. Conrad Los Angeles has a great feel throughout, and it’s a quiet, private place in DTLA that’s easy to get in and out of. It sits right across from Walt Disney Concert Hall and the courthouses, which is really convenient. For me, it’s a five star LA experience.

My husband got complimentary cupcakes and a card for his birthday, such a sweet touch. The service was five stars, and I loved the pool, spa, gym, lobby, and the hotel’s stunning design. The rooms are gorgeous and well stocked with coffee, tea, robes, slippers, free water, and chocolate. We had a great view of the walt disney theatre, too. It’s quiet in DTLA in little Tokyo. One of the best hotel stays I’ve had, and this is going to be my go to place in LA!

This was our second visit, and the pool is magnificent while the gym is really nice. We could easily walk across the street from our room to a concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the view from the room was stunning. The morning coffee and tea in the lobby are a lovely perk. Breakfast at the restaurant was tasty, though pricey, and the service was excellent. The service here is unparalleled. I texted to ask for ice for our restaurant leftovers, and within ten minutes they brought both ice and a mini-fridge to our room. My only change would be the mattress: it was too soft for me and left my back sore, though someone else might like it. A beautiful hotel and a great stay.
