El Patio Inn - Near Universal Studios Hollywood

The location was convenient, and the front desk was easy to deal with. The room did the job, although the price felt a bit high for what you got. It was damp inside and had stains on the wall, plus a bullet hole in the door, but the place wasn’t that ghetto. After hours, you have to drive a few miles to another hotel to sign in and get your key. That’s just my opinion of the stay. It’s a nice little place.

We stayed two nights and had a pleasant time. The room was tiny but clean, and the beds were comfortable enough. The decor was a little outdated, but we didn’t mind. Having a microwave and mini refrigerator was a big plus. We only needed somewhere to sleep, and the price was right. Universal Studios was a few minutes away, and restaurants, grocery stores, and convenience stores were within walking distance. Parking is very tight if you have a large vehicle. Picking up the key a mile away was easy, and the gentleman at Nite Inn was very courteous. I’d recommend it and stay again if needed.

For a short visit near Universal Studios, this hotel is good value. The room and bathroom were clean, and the beds were comfortable, so I’d recommend it and come back. Just keep in mind there’s limited parking, one car per room.

The room was dusty, and the service in the room was just okay. The front desk guy was rude. I called with a couple of questions, and he hung up on me. The pictures made the room look nice and spacious, but it was much smaller in person. For the price, I could have gone somewhere 100 times better. I’ll never stay here again and don’t recommend it.
