The front desk could have told me more about the amenities, since I only later discovered the shared kitchen with free coffee, ice, and utensils, where guests often spend time. There’s also a nice restaurant next door for happy hour. Parking was easy, with plenty of spots around the hotel and near the small market next door. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Found. It was clean, the room was super spacious, the bathroom was huge, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was great, the location excellent, and I recommend it.

Cliffdiver, the Mexican restaurant and bar connected to the lobby, has a nice laid-back feel, though it isn’t hotel owned. Coffee is available whenever you want, 24/7, and after-hours parking on the curb by the entrance is free, which seems unusually good for LA. Staff were courteous and helpful. There’s no business center, but they kindly printed a couple of pages for me at the front. The rooms were big enough, with unique decor and minimal but sufficient amenities. Nice for the price, and I’d stay again.

It’s in a great location, close to Santa Monica and convenient for getting around. But both rooms we tried had very wet carpet. The first also had weak A/C, so we moved, and the second smelled musty. The rooms can feel really muggy, and the A/C wasn’t great.

There’s a guest kitchen and laundry, plus a cappuccino machine and other things. The little Mexican place inside the hotel is cute, and our room had a small balcony. It’s not too far from shopping and sightseeing, and the vibe was quiet and relaxed. Parking can be reserved in the garage, but it’s tight and steep getting in and out. Cute place!
