Hollywood Celebrity Hotel

The room was really clean, and the staff kept cleaning nonstop. What stayed with me most was how kind they were. At breakfast they made waffles and bagels, and one employee asked if I was Korean. After I said yes, we chatted briefly, and the next day she brought me some Korean instant noodles, Buldak. That meant a lot and made me so happy. The location is great too, just a minute from the Hollywood street and very close to the subway station. If I get the chance, I’d love to stay here another night, 1000%. Thank you for being so kind!♡♡

The room was a little dated, as the reviews say, but for a solo trip I was glad to have two queen beds, a huge bathroom, and a kitchen. It may have been the last room available when I booked, but I was happy with it. The guy who checked me in was great, explained things well, and made it easy. In the morning, Patricia handled breakfast, and she was just as wonderful as everyone says. She works so hard to make every guest feel cared for. What an asset to the hotel, she deserves a raise. I stayed one night last week and had a great time. The location was perfect, parking caused me no problems, and I felt good about leaving my rental car there overnight.

Patricia made breakfast special, and her service was amazing. The spread was standard continental fare, with toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, and waffles. Albin and Patricia both gave great customer service. The hotel is in a great spot, about a two minute walk from Ovation Hollywood Mall. There’s no elevator in the two floor building, which was a problem since I’m handicapped and was put upstairs in Room 219. It was a huge, clean two bedroom with two king beds, and the beds were comfortable.

Room 114 made the stay uncomfortable. It was on the ground floor, facing the parking lot, so people kept walking by and we couldn’t leave the curtains open. There was also a trash can outside the window, and the noise from people throwing things away was constant. We even found little flying bugs in the bathroom. The central Hollywood location is great, parking is just $22 a day, and there’s continental breakfast, which is better than nothing. It’s relatively cheap, so if you’re on a tight budget, go for it. But if you want a reasonably comfortable vacation stay, I’d look elsewhere.
