Granada Inn

For a motel, this was way overpriced. Towels are incredibly thin, shampoo and soap are rationed, and each room is limited to one parking spot. The front desk didn't seem willing to accommodate what I needed.

The staff were pleasant and the inn looked as good as it did in the photos. It's affordable compared with other places around Los Angeles, and it's close to my grandparents' home in Los Angeles, CA. My mom and I are planning to come back when we visit family in Ca. The walls don't block sound well, so you can hear nearby guests if they're too loud. Apart from that, I can't complain. Four out of five.

The rooms look lovely, but the service didn't live up to them. We had booked several nights, yet a housekeeper barged in on my husband and me without permission, claiming we hadn't paid. That was completely false. Then the manager called and demanded we leave for nonpayment. I read out our confirmation number for the additional nights, and he had to take back what he'd said. The floors weren't cleaned properly either. I watched a cleaner knock my bag down and leave it on the floor. No bueno.

The rooms are well kept, and the beds are really comfortable. 👍
