Hometel Suites - Los Angeles (Koreatown)

The front desk staff were friendly, but I wouldn’t stay here again. Our room was huge, though dirty, warm, and very humid, with a strong old pool chlorine smell that the AC seemed to add to. Opening the window helped only a little because street noise was intense even at 1 a.m. The bathroom fan and several room lights didn’t work. Parking is free but extremely tight. We got the last underground spot, and our Honda Civic barely fit.

We had a great two-day stay. The rooms were neat and spacious, and there was free parking. The hotel is right in Koreatown, which made it easy to get to major locations. Staff were very kind and helpful with guidance.

It’s a no-frills hotel, but the rooms are very clean and the staff are friendly. The central location near buses and the Metro makes getting around by public transit easy, especially for New Yorkers who don’t drive. There’s a Korean seafood restaurant and a great coffee place attached to the hotel. A good budget pick if you’re in LA for work or fun.

I’m here one or two days most weeks and find it a very nice hotel. The staff are especially attentive. The reception team deserves a mention for getting check-in done quickly and efficiently, with no waiting around.
