Jolly Roger Hotel

At Jolly Roger, you get a spotless room, a fridge, quality toiletries, a free ice machine, and a little coffee maker in the room. Parking is free, too. It’s a prime location, and for their prices, you’ll feel like a pirate. Can’t beat it!

The facilities are alright, and the location is great, with free parking, but the staff attitude was really unprofessional. I urgently needed contact lenses because my current ones were torn, so I asked the receptionist if she could pick up a package for me if it arrived. She replied in a mocking tone, “No, but if they drop it off, I can.” I explained that it would be delivered to the hotel and she wouldn’t need to go anywhere to get it. She then said, “Don’t worry, it happens when you’re first learning the language.” That was condescending and unnecessary, especially since I’m a TESOL certified English language instructor.

Room 306 was my favorite part of the Jolly Roger hotel. The air conditioning worked well, the TV was good, and the bathroom had a nice tub and good toilets. The receptionist was nice, and there was a shelf of magazines. Service was good, too. I loved the jacuzzi, hot tub, pool, sauna, breakfast, and Wi-Fi. This is a really nice hotel, better than any other I've stayed at.

I left my wallet at reception and got it back three days after arranging a pickup, with all my credit cards, debit cards, and driver's license still inside. The hotel staff were honest, professional, and went beyond what they had to do. I'm very grateful. Thank you so much, guys! I highly recommend this location.
