Kimpton Everly Hotel Hollywood by IHG

We had such a fantastic time at the IHG Kimpton Everly Hotel in Hollywood, where my friend and I stayed for one night. The hotel is gorgeous, with amazing amenities and a location right in the center of Hollywood, where people from all over the world come to visit or dream of visiting. From our high floor we had a breathtaking Hollywood Sign view, and the heated rooftop pool had exclusive vibes and a stunning 180° view of Los Angeles City. I got obsessed with the chic medieval/tunic style robes, too. Big shoutout to Monse and Becca at the front desk. They were fun to talk with, took a real interest in what I brought up from the moment I arrived, and knew their jobs and hotel well. They gave me delicious breakfast suggestions for Jane Q, and the food was deliciooooous. I had a medium-rare hanger steak and eggs, fresh watermelon and arugula salad with chicken added, and, please don't judge how much I ate, the SUPREME strawberry cheesecake waffles for dessert. You gotta try those too! At Jane Q, THE LOVELY GEORGINA won our hearts as well as our stomachs. She had the kindest spirit and smile from greeting us and taking our order through serving us and finishing our checks, and she really knew the menu. I'll spread the word about Kimpton Everly, Jane Q, and the staff's above-and-beyond care. I can't wait to come back for a longer stay. I truly had a blast.

The downstairs restaurant was convenient and nice, with great food and service at a reasonable price. We stayed one night, arriving early, so the staff stored our bags and brought them to the room once it was ready. It's a great base within walking distance of Hollywood Blvd.

We've been coming to the Kimpton Everly since 2018 and will keep returning. It feels like home away from home, with welcoming people who take great care of us and feel like family. It's a clean, comfortable, stylish place with good value, warm staff, a nice atmosphere, and a good location. We love unwinding here with our pup, too. Jane Q and Written Hand are both awesome. Check out social hour from 5 to 6 pm for free wine and small bites. As with Kimptons generally, dogs stay free and are family too.

The bathrooms were exceptional, but the living space left a lot to be desired and wasn't what I expected from the website. Still, it worked out fine for our five-day stay. The location is great for Hollywood Blvd, the Pantages Theatre, other places to visit, and tour buses.
