A relaxed place and good for the money. It was quiet, not hard to reach, and checking in was simple once I filled out the online paperwork right after booking. There’s free parking if a space is available, and it’s near downtown. The kitchen also worked well for having drinks before going out. Just keep your expectations in line with the price.

The room itself was decent, but sound carried through the whole house. Other guests used the shared bathroom across the hall, and one person’s fish dinner left the entire place smelling of it. I couldn’t adjust the temperature, so the room was very warm at night. The area also felt unsafe: my Uber driver warned me to walk around during the day but not at night. We couldn’t wait to leave, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The only part that felt reassuring was having touch code locks on the house and bedroom doors. Inside, the bed was tiny, set low on the floor, and hard as a rock. My friend and I were upset because the beds didn’t look like the ones in the pictures at all, and the bathroom is shared. There’s a stove, fridge, and dishes, so bring your own food and drinks. No TV in the room. For what we got at this location, it should cost around $20.

The room, kitchen, and bathroom were clean and nice, but getting checked in was confusing and difficult. I could connect to the WiFi outside the house, though it kept dropping and freezing. After I checked in, they gave me the password for the other house, even though there are two houses. I sent questions over the weekend, Saturday and Sunday, and never got an answer or an apology for the unanswered inquiry.
