I wanted to leave a good review because staff were accommodating at first, but problems after check-in weren't handled well. The room smelled of cigarettes and the TV was broken. From 2 a.m. to 7 a.m., I kept contacting the front desk about a noisy adult guest upstairs. I first thought it was a child, but staff confirmed it was an adult. Instead of dealing with the noise after multiple complaints, they joked that the guest was having a good time and told me to use the earplugs. I felt completely disrespected. I understand hotels have quiet hours and that repeated complaints should lead to a guest being removed. Nothing was done, so I had to book another night just to sleep and missed a day of work. When I asked Shama at the desk about a refund for the first night, she told me to do whatever I had to do. If you want attentive staff, this isn't the place. If you book here, you're on your own when problems come up.

I needed a room at the last minute because my apartment flooded, and Pauly held the last available one when I called. Check-in around 1 a.m. went smoothly, but the TV kept fading in and out and its remote stopped working. I couldn't turn it off, so the desk gave me another remote. Then, around 2 a.m., a guest upstairs started stomping. After my first complaint it stopped for half an hour, then got louder. By nearly 4 a.m. I still hadn't slept in over 24 hours. At the desk, the man joked that the upstairs guest had someone over. I got no empathy or offer to change rooms or remove the guest. I called a third time, and didn't sleep until 7 a.m. With checkout at 11 and no sleep, I called off work and booked another day just to rest. At checkout, Shama was extremely rude when I raised the issue. She joked that it could have been worse because a drugged-out man had an episode on the property earlier, bringing 20 or more police officers. That didn't make me feel better about the stay or the hospitality. The property is relatively clean and has decent amenities, but I've never felt so disrespected by hotel staff. I've stayed at plenty of hotels without other guests making me uncomfortable, and I expected staff to help me sleep and get up for work. They didn't think my complaints called for any action during quiet hours. The location is out of the way, and they charge for parking passes even when a visitor doesn't stay overnight. For the nightly price, I didn't get a pleasant stay and lost a day of work. I hope they handle noise complaints more thoroughly for all guests in the future.

I've stayed here twice after 18-hour shifts with my working dog, and both times they got me into a room in under ten minutes. The rooms are clean and nice, and I slept comfortably. Parking is convenient, right in front of the rooms, though the spaces are mostly for compact cars. On the second visit, the woman said I couldn't park on the street anymore, which seemed really strange and like false information to sell me a parking permit. She was a bit rude, but I was exhausted and paid anyway. My service dog and I will use this place to rest again. Thanks.

My mom has stayed here several times, and I recently spent a night myself. The staff keep the hotel clean and are attentive, accommodating, and really on top of things. I appreciated how they handled a recent request and made check-in and checkout easy. I also met a couple in the lobby who were visiting their grandkids, like my mom. It seems popular with families coming to the Studio City area.

The hotel was better than I expected after reading the reviews on Expedia. It's inexpensive and the service was good. The desk worker was nice and even walked us to our room. We had clean towels and sheets, a microwave, and a mini fridge. There's no coffee maker in the room, but the lobby has one for everyone to use. Parking was fine, with spaces at the front, side, and back. I parked on the side for the whole trip and had no break-in or damage to my car.
