Samesun Hollywood - Hostel

A good, affordable hostel with friendly service. The employees were really nice, the shared areas were clean, and the metro is right across the street. My room had a pee-like smell, though, and the breakfast could be better. Still, I’d recommend it if you want a cheap stay and welcoming staff.

The staff were friendly, and the food tasted amazing. Everything came fresh and on time, and the restaurant was clean with lovely decor. I really enjoyed it and would recommend the place for good food and service. I’ll visit again soon! 🍽️✨

The hostel is in a great spot near the subway, and breakfast was great too. My room was a bit small but had everything I needed. There’s a roomy common area with a table and a comfy sofa, plus activities on almost every day.

I was told at check-in that my booking for two people and two beds meant sharing with four strangers. I’d paid $144 for two nights and had booked a private room, but because the booking was nonrefundable, I felt stuck. They said a private room would cost an extra $194, so I was angry but paid it. For $338, I got one bed in a room with only a fridge, no microwave, sink, or bathroom. The bathroom was outside, like one at a gym, which was really inconvenient. They should give people more details before booking. Not worth it, and I won’t book here again.
