The rooftop was amazing, and the facilities throughout the property were outstanding and well cared for. The place had a comfortable, refined feel, and the staff were attentive and professional, going above and beyond. Service and facilities were excellent.

We travel to Los Angeles often, but after this stay it's hard to picture choosing another hotel. The staff made the visit feel special from the start. Bridget, the Front Desk Manager, welcomed us warmly, checked us into a wonderful room, showed us around the property, and gave us great restaurant suggestions. She was thoughtful and kind. Marianne, the Hotel Director, was just as caring. She walked us through more dining options, called to check reservation availability, and surprised us with mini cheesecakes and macaroons, along with a heartfelt thank-you note. That made us feel truly valued. At the bar, Basil made crafting drinks look like an art. His precision and passion were mesmerizing, and it was clear how much pride he takes in his work. We also appreciated the security team. When we left an item in our room, Tauvan, the Security Manager, called us, described it in detail, and kept it safe until we returned. Shawn (or Sean), a new security guard, made us feel at ease too. When we asked how to get to a nearby restaurant, he offered to walk us there himself so we'd feel safe. Knowing my wife could stay here alone later and be looked after by a team that takes safety seriously means a lot. The hotel has the comfort you'd expect from a top-tier place, and every person we met showed warmth and professionalism. We look forward to returning and recommend it highly.

The stay itself was comfortable, and the hotel had good rooms in a good location. But the front desk service left a bad impression during our two-night weekend in LA. We were greeted on arrival, but it felt flat and no more than average. Then we were assigned a room under construction, with walls and things opened up for maintenance, a used bed and bathroom, and shattered window glass. It could have been a room-system mistake, which is an operations issue, but when we went downstairs to ask for another room, the desk person didn't acknowledge what had happened or apologize. I work in customer service and would at least have said sorry for the inconvenience. The front desk staff generally felt distant and weren't especially friendly. I hope they take this feedback seriously, since it affects how guests feel and the customer service experience.

We were only here briefly, so we didn't get to explore the area, use the facilities, or try happy hour or dining. We were happy with the location, the hotel's cleanliness, and the friendly front desk team, especially the Valet Team. We'd read about rooftop party noise and asked for a lower floor, so we got a sixth-floor king suite. After dinner, we came back to a huge crowd at the entrance, ready for the rooftop party. It was a fun scene to witness, though we could hear the DJ and music vibrating for a few hours even on the sixth floor. We'll stay again, but ask for a lower floor.
