Best Western The Inn Of Los Gatos

Everyone on staff was VERY helpful, and the hotel itself was clean, quiet, and handy for downtown Los Gatos. I tried the small fitness room, which was a nice extra, though we left the pool unused. Breakfast was included each day. There was always something hot, like eggs with meat or a couple of breakfast wraps, plus French toast sticks. Cold choices included cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, muffins, and Danish pastries. Pretty standard hotel food.

I’ve stayed with Best Western at other properties for years, but I can’t recommend this one. On my first visit, late in the morning or early afternoon, the man at the front desk was discourteous and unwelcoming, and I later found out he hadn’t been truthful. I asked if there were any suites for that night. He said they were all sold out, but I checked online and saw plenty available. I’m a Diamond Select member, and it seemed he simply didn’t want to upgrade me. I won’t get into all the bad manners, but there was no real hospitality or integrity in the interaction. He also showed me a king room that he said another guest had already rented for the evening. If that was true, I don’t know why he let me walk around and look at it, hiking boots and all. I don’t recommend this hotel.

The room stayed nice and cool during spring, and we had a great visit. The beds were a little too soft for my back, though. Thanks again!

Perla was kind and got me into a room right away. She knew the property and the neighborhood well. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, it smells good, and the bathroom is big 😊 There’s a fan too. So far I’m really pleased with the hotel and its staff, and I’ll stay here again. Holly Eckstrand
