The lobby and first floor hallway smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke, though I didn’t notice it in our room. The rooms were clean apart from some dusty carpet edges, and the beds were comfortable enough that I slept really well. Staff were friendly and helpful. For a budget hotel, it’s decent. We appreciated that it welcomed pets and the fee wasn’t too high. Breakfast was the old school continental kind, with no eggs or meat, but there was no extra $40-50 charge for the “free” hot breakfast. They had toaster waffles, cereal, milk, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit cups, juice, bagels, cinnamon rolls, toast, and hot drinks. I’d stay here again.

The bed was great and comfortable, and I loved the room. But the TV had a small screen and a very dark picture. I use a cane and was wearing a neck brace, yet they put us on the second floor with no elevator. They should have thought more about their customers.

The rooms smelled musty, and the flooring at the doorway was missing, leaving just plywood. The carpet was stained and extremely dirty. Breakfast was pretty meager: toast, bagels, tiny Danish, and expired yogurt. The king bed was super hard and uncomfortable, while our friends had a super soft queen bed. Next time we visit, we’ll stay across the street.

I’m giving this five stars only because there isn’t a million-star option. It’s truly the best hotel I’ve stayed in for under $100, and it could give the Hilton a run for its money. If it had a bar and restaurant, I’d even call it better than the Hilton. Also, the cleaning lady has to be the hottest one ever.

The jetted tub was amazing, like having a jacuzzi to yourself. Our room had art on the walls that I loved, and the design was well put together. The hotel was incredibly clean and in great shape. A fantastic stay for the price.
