River's Edge Motel

Rena saw we had a truck and trailer when we checked in and moved us to a room in the main building close to our vehicle. We had plenty of parking after our UTV trip in Arkansas, and the room was clean and comfortable. Trains go by, and the motel is at a busy intersection with lots of engine braking, so use the wall fan. A nice place to stop.

I stayed here for a little over four months while working nearby, and there’s nothing bad I can say. The river-side view is really nice, the rooms are always clean, and the staff is great, funny, and helpful.

We spent about four months at this motel, and all the staff were efficient and nice to us. The owners are attentive, and housekeeping is friendly and always checks that our needs are met. The owners are some of the finest people you could meet. The place is very clean, and I highly recommend staying here.

The Mississippi view was worth every penny, and we slept well for both nights. Our room was pleasant, as was the staff, and it had a refrigerator and microwave. We were right by the river's edge, with a train track running through the brush down to the water. We didn’t know it was there until we heard the whistle that evening. It was the perfect choice.
