I was impressed with the property at first, but that changed when I pulled down the ironing board that evening and four used injection needles fell out. I was horrified and scared about the safety risk. I reported it to the front desk, but they didn't seem concerned that a guest could have been stuck. I won't stay there again. If you do, check the whole room carefully when you arrive.

Check-in was smooth even though I arrived late. The room was clean, though the hallways weren't, and at first it had a strong, strange mustard-like odor. Turning on the AC fan and bathroom fan eventually cleared it. Around 10 p.m. the next day, we returned to find the AC wasn't working. The front desk came to look but couldn't fix it. They offered another room, but it was so late that we'd have had to repack everything, including the fridge, and my boyfriend was asleep, so we couldn't move. They gave us a fan and said they'd look into reducing the room cost. It was hot, but we managed. I asked about it again at checkout the next morning and was told they'd check. As of a week later, nothing had been refunded, and they hadn't called or fixed the issue. Update 3/5/2026: they never offered any money back. I wouldn't stay here again.

I haven't checked in yet, but so far the staff have been incredibly kind. I spoke with two different people, and both were equally helpful, despite some reviews saying they were rude. I can't help wondering if those complaints might be related to racism, because my experience has been nothing but kindness. I called about a late arrival, which could be after midnight if our scheduled event ran late. They were completely fine with that. I also asked if they could turn on the AC before check-in at 3 p.m. After reading reviews about rooms being over 90 degrees and taking hours to cool, I wanted to arrive to a comfortable room. I suffer from heat stroke and can pass out in very hot conditions, and we're in a heat wave with real-feel temperatures over 100°. They immediately agreed to turn it on. Thank you to the Econo Lodge owners, staff, and employees for being so accommodating and welcoming so far.

I booked a room for an employee arriving on 10/12 and told Econo Lodge he would check in late. I gave them my debit card details and emailed the requested documents so check-in would go smoothly. At 3 a.m., the receptionist called to ask for authorization again, saying the hotel had cancelled the reservation because my guest checked in late at night. The bigger shock came when I checked my bank account today and saw six transactions from the hotel. There’s $360 pending in total for a room that was supposed to cost $104. I called this afternoon, but no manager was available to explain the charges. A terrible experience all around. Management, please call me back and explain these charges!
