The bed was hard as a rock and didn’t support me, and the pillows felt like rubber. Those were my two complaints. Otherwise, the hotel is very well cared for considering its age, and it’s in a great spot for walking around and exploring. The front desk staff are incredible, and the elevators are quick. Restaurants and food are available early and late, so it’s easy to find something to eat.

I’ve stayed twice, once in each wing. On my first visit, in the west wing during winter, I couldn’t get hot water even after letting it run for 45 minutes. The receptionist said it had to travel from a lower floor to a higher one and could take minutes to warm up. That explanation seemed ridiculous, and I still couldn’t shower with hot water. This time in the east wing, the shower took a while to warm, but never got hot. The sink water heated up quickly. The hotel itself is quite nice, with a spacious room and two TVs, though neither is smart. There’s no complimentary water or breakfast, and they only had decaf coffee, English breakfast tea, and one paper cup. No bathrobes either. WiFi is free. The location is decent, and service was ok.

My suite was nice and clean, and the hotel staff were really friendly and attentive. Nilka at the concierge desk deserves a special thanks. When a DoorDash driver dropped my food at the wrong building, she went all the way to the 12th floor of another wing to retrieve it and saved my day. I’ll definitely stay here next time I’m in Lousiville.

We were here for a weekend volleyball tournament and had a really enjoyable stay. The rooms were huge, clean, and comfortable, the location was perfect, and the front desk team was friendly and efficient. The airy atrium bar and coffee shop were nice too. My daughter left a stuffed toy in the room by accident, and it meant a lot to her. I filed a lost item report after calling the hotel, but didn’t expect it to turn up. A week later, Patricia found it and shipped it to us overnight for free. Thank you!
